Unpaid leave

Employers shall be obliged to allow the workers or employees a one-time use of unpaid leave of up to one year, in special cases laid down in the law (art. 160, para. 2 of LC). The unpaid leave of up to 30 working days within one calendar year shall be included in the length of service, and that of over 30 working days - only if it is so provided in the Labour Code, another law, or an act of the Council of Ministers (art. 160, para. 3 of LC).
